2018 FCA RYDER CUP MATCH
May 18-20, 2018 | Palm Desert | North vs South
2 TEAMS. 1 STATE. WHO WILL BRING HOME THE TROPHY?
This year golfers will test themselves on the magnificent layouts of La Quinta Country Club, The Hideaway and BIGHORN. Players and spouses alike will enjoy the early summer weather and the spectacular sunset over the mountains of this world class resort destination.
12 golfers from Northern California will compete against 12 golfers from Southern California in a modified Ryder Cup format over 54 holes of golf. Not your usual weekend of golf, as this event challenges friends of FCA in a highly competitive team play format. Trophies and prizes will be awarded (not to mention bragging rights).
The FCA Ryder Cup is our premier golfing and fundraising event of the year. Your participation allows us to pursue our vision to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. As space is limited, we encourage you to return your registration as soon as possible. Registration includes accommodations, meals, prizes and three days of incredible golf. We will also have a Chapel service and two evening programs for you to be encouraged spiritually and to hear about the impact of FCA. For more information contact your Team Captain listed below.

La Quinta Country Club is not your typical desert course. It’s described as being a tighter course, well bunkered with mature trees. It requires strategic course management, which is why both pros and amateurs alike favor it. Our fairways have been a virtual walk of fame. The elite of Hollywood, Monarchs, Presidents and The King – Arnold Palmer – have matched their wits and talents with our famous 18 holes. We’ve passed the test of time.
Palm Springs Life magazine awarded La Quinta Country Club “Best Private Golf Course in the Coachella Valley.”
Saturday, May 19 – The Hideaway
- 7:30am – Breakfast
- 9:00am – Chapel
- 11:00am – Shotgun Start (2-Man Best Ball)
- 7:00pm – Dinner and Program
The Hideaway’s gently rolling fairways are lined by water and sand, or punctuated by waterfalls and bunkers, leading to beautifully manicured greens. Each hole is unique and memorable, the type you’ll want to replay shot-by-shot after the round or with your friends later that night. The Pete Dye course plays to over 7,100 yards from the championship tees and to 5,100 yards from the forward tees.
Desert Golf Magazine ranks The Hideaway (Pete Dye) in the Top 5 private courses in the Coachella Valley.
